Jason Mraz Concert!

On tueday, the 28th of october, I had A Blast at The E center. I went to the Jason Mraz concert. It was so fun! He sang some of my favorite songs from his new album, and even some from his older albums. It was really cool because they had a screen that was showing people’s pictures they sent in. My mom sent in pictures and it showed them!!
Later, Jason sang things and we sang them back at him. Like a simon says thing. It was really enjoyable. I went with my mom. We had lots of fun together!
I love Jason Mraz!!!!!

St. George

We went to St. George for our last competition. We practiced really hard when we got there. Then we had some free time for lunch and swimming. Then We went to perform. We did okay, but there were just some parts that weren’t as good as they could have been. Thinking about it now, The last song is a blur to me so I don’t even know what it could have looked like.
We returned to watch the awards and the last remaining bands. There were some really good out of state bands.
Then. . . . Came the awards. I was quite nervous but I wanted something so bad. And As the judge called out 3rd place, they said TOOELE. And I was SO happy we got a place. This season was rough, and getting 3rd at st. george made my night so much better.

We came home the next morning. Later that day I went with some band people to see High School Musical 3. I actually thought the songs were really good.
Halloween is around the corner. But Tomorrow I’m going to a Jason Mraz concert! I’m so Excited for it!!!!

Field Show

This year we are doing Last Of The Mohicans for our field show. It is coming along really well, however, we have many visuals to add and a lot of cleaning for the end.
We had our first competition this past saturday. We didn’t win anything this time, but it was an earlier season, and the beginning was quite great.
The other Shows were really good too! I love watching the 4A and 5A bands. They Are amazing!!!
We will be performing during halftime at homecoming, oct. 10th. Come watch us! We will be so good!

Girls Camp!

Girls camp was this past week. It was really fun. We went to Heber Valley Camp. It was much better then our normal camping spot. This one had cabins for us to sleep in. It was really nice. We had good meals, and fun activities that were really enjoyable. I saw up to 17 deer, endless amounts of squirrels and chipmunks, and a moose butt. (he was hiding.) I shall give you a run through of the wonderful week:
Monday, the 14th:
We arrived at camp and unloaded our belongings to our cabins. I was in a cabin with Lacey, Devyn, Corinne, Amalia, Abby, and Makinnley. We had the funniest leaders from the 29th ward. They kept us in good spirits. We did the 4th year hike, which was quite hard, going there with our bags. But we got there, and slept under the stars. I saw three shooting stars, too.
Tuesday, the 15th.
In the morning, we hiked back to our camp. It wasn’t as hard coming back. We did rotations, (certification, destiny, and crafts) and then had lunch. We were allowed a shower because of our hike. That was nice of them. We had free time before dinner. We watched a slideshow of last year’s camp. Then we went off to bed after a short devotional.
Wednesday, the 16th. (the Best day of Camp)
Today we went to Legacy Lake. We were going to go in the lake in a canoe. I noticed there were people from a different town there. I went up to one and they were from Brigham City, where I used to live. I asked if Clarissa was there, and she was! She was my best friend! We got a chance to talk for a little while. It was such a great event for me. After Canoeing, we went to the challenge course. They had challenges for us to do. I enjoyed them. There was the trust fall, object retrieval, and a big swing. They were fun and involved teamwork for each one. We had skits after dinner, and there were some really funny ones.
Thursday, the 17th.
Today we were able to choose whether or not to go on a hike. I did. And there was an amazing view of the camp and the lake from the hike I went on. It was very enjoyable.
We had rotations and then we had a testimony meeting. That was very enjoyable as well.
Friday, the 18th.

We came home!!!!!
